A Taste of Harwinton 2020 – May 30-31

Now in its fourth year, the Harwinton Lions Food Truck Festival has expanded its partnership with the Harwinton Agricultural Society to a two-day festival. The two organizations will present Taste of Harwinton on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Harwinton Fairgrounds, 150 Locust Road. The fairground location and partnership provides the opportunity to include more food trucks, a DJ and live music, including singer/songwriter Adelaide Punkin Datzuk, and a kids’ zone with family activities including bounce houses, face painting, games, and pony rides. Convenient on-site parking is available at the fairgrounds.

Saturday events will feature a horse show, including barrel racing, gymkhana, and antique tractor pulls. And food trucks!

Sunday events include a kids’ garden tractor pull and the Harwinton Lions Cars for Sight show, now in its 8th year in a new location, with varied food truck offerings for car presenters and attendees. The entry fee for exhibitors is $10. Classics, Antique, Trucks, Muscle, Street Rods, and Modified will be judged, with trophies awarded to the Top 25 cars. Proceeds from the event benefit the Harwinton Lions Scholarship and Sight Funds.

And as in previous years, local businesses and vendors will sell clothing, crafts, food products, and more.

A Taste of Harwinton Food Truck Festival is sponsored in part by local businesses.
